Expressing my Impression-Reliable Alibi Review

 

Reliable Alibi is back again and today I am going to review his new song ‘Expressing My Impression’ which comes out this Friday on June 18th! From his upcoming debut album ‘The UkeRock Experience’

People find inspiration everywhere sometimes even in other people. When asked about his inspiration Reliable Alibi says he was inspired by the late actor Robin Williams.

“In many ways, this song was inspired by the life and career of Robin Williams. He was a man who truly lived for his artistry. He put our entertainment and joy before himself, and he will forever be in our hearts. I wanted to capture the very spirit of art in the lyrics of this song. My fellow artists, this one's for you!”

I have previously reviewed Reliable Alibi’s first single ‘You Are My Heart’ and I went into this song already thinking I had an idea what ‘Expressing My Impression’ would be like but I was completely wrong (In a good way!)

The upbeat melody and simple but cheery lyrics almost reminded me of a song from a Disney movie which may have been intentional or maybe just a fun coincidence because Robin Williams was in a few Disney movies!I feel that this song really does a really good job of capturing the spirit of art and of having lyrics that can bring likeminded artists together!

Overall I give ‘Expressing My Impression’ 7/10 slices! I’m sure if Robin Williams was still here he would love this song and I have a feeling this album is going to be a dynamic one! I can’t wait to listen to the full debut album and see what Reliable Alibi comes out with next!
