Today I’m reviewing the EP ‘alone in the end.’ By blankstate.

Blankstate. is a three piece indie band and ‘alone in the end.’ Is their debut EP! Originally I thought their band name was bank statement which is why I was interested in reviewing them but obviously that is not the case💀. But my bad eyesight did lead me to amazing music!!!

When I first saw the title and the cover of the EP I was kind of expecting it to be a little gloomy but it turned out to be the complete opposite.

The tracks on this EP were all super cute! Personally I interpreted this EP as being from the point of view of someone who is a hopeless romantic.They keep falling in love with people but they never end up in a sturdy relationship hence the title ‘alone in the end.’

This was a really amazing feel good EP that reminds me of summer and my favorite track was ‘reading into nothing’. I thought it was super catchy and was the perfect last song for the EP because after all of the lovey dovey songs it really reinstated the feeling of reading to much into things and falling in love to easily.

Overall I give it an 8/10 slices!!! If you like singers like mxmtoon you should give this EP a listen! (And also check out their Instagram page they have a cool aesthetic!)
