Chariot-See Through Person Review

 

Today I’m reviewing the EP ‘Chariot’ by See Through Person! 

‘Chariot’ is a three track EP that was originally released in the December of 2020 but I have recently found it because See Through Person has just signed to Acrobat Unstable Records!!! 

I’m super happy for them and I’m super glad they did because it led me to this amazing EP!

‘Chariot’ is a indie shoegaze punk EP, one of the many things I loved about all of the songs was that the vocals were super raw and full of emotion and they paired really well with the heavy amounts of guitar and drums. 

Something cool I also noticed was that the name of this EP may be referencing the chariot tarot card. Unfortunately I don’t know much about tarot so I don’t know if it adds some hidden meaning to the EP or anything, but it’s still cool too see all of the little details and thoughts that went into it!!!

It was kind of difficult for me to decide but my favorite track from this EP was ‘Change Your Name’. I’m a sucker for a good guitar riff and when I first heard the guitar riff in the beginning of this song I was hooked! (All of the songs on this EP had amazing guitar riffs it wasn’t just this one)

Overall I give this EP 9/10 slices! If you happen to listen to this EP and find that you like it then I have good news for you! See Through Person has announced in their latest Instagram post that their second EP is currently being worked on and it will release sometime this year!
